Must have Matta

January 31, 2011

I was introduced to Matta scarves when I was in NYC (gosh, I really won’t shut up about that trip and it was months ago, sorry) and I kind of forgot about them till I spotted them on Gadabout’s “Things” page (if you haven’t looked at it before DO IT). So I want one of these Matta Dupata Medium scarves in a bad way… They are slightly smaller in size than the traditional Matta and have fuller pom-pom tassels on all four sides than the fringe tassels on the traditional.  I’m dying over the variety of colors it comes it…

So I want one of these Matta Dupata Medium scarves in a bad way… They are slightly smaller in size than the traditional Matta and have fuller pom-pom tassels on all four sides than the fringe tassels on the traditional.  I’m dying over the variety of colors it comes it – peachy salmon and chartreuse are on my list… The great thing about the scarves is the “hand spun and hand woven silk cotton blend” that looks light and airy but when wrapped around your neck, it makes a great poufy texture that doesn’t overwhelm your whole upper body.
