Maybe it comes with the fact that I work with children all day everyday or maybe it comes from my admiration for my own mother, but whatever the reason, I am absolutely fascinated by the relationship between mothers and their children. Especially young children and babies. I’m not sure there is a bond anything quite like it. Watching a mother interact with her children is unlike anything else. And although I am not a mother (except to two little bunny boo pups), I think the love is unlike anything else.
THE GLOW is a website/blog that “gives a glimpse into the world of inspiring and fashionable moms.” Not only does it showcase these gorgeous and talented moms (think Rebecca Minkoff and Cynthia Rowley) with their little ones, but it gives a peek into their homes, darling children’s rooms, and their kids closets (please tell me that I am not the only one who is obsessed with children’s/baby clothing). Whether the site is called the glow because of the gorgeous glowy light flowing through the pictures (Molly can take pictures like this!!) or because of the glow that a mother has, I don’t know. But I adore it all.
I have always had an admiration for working mothers who can balance a successful career and children that seem to live such a normal (all things considering) childhood. Jennifer Garner is my absolute idol – two small daughters and a baby on the way and she lets her kids wear normal kid things like Crocs. Suri Cruse is just not a realistic child. Sorry Suri. Reading about the different moms on THE GLOW is one of my favorite parts – it makes you realize that yes, they’re famous but their kids also have poopy diapers on friends couches. Now I am luring you in even more aren’t I?
THE GLOW has been featured on various blogs such as Amber Interiors, Rikshaw Design, and Stylish Bird and images from the site have been circulating around Pinterest. I am posting it here because it is just that wonderful that I want to make sure all of our pretty little readers get a chance to see the site in all its glory. And because our blog is probably the only way I could get my mom to view the pretty images. (Shes not too advanced in the computer/opening attachments area)
