Hair Care

As of late I have been in a legitimate love/hate relationship with my hair.  After a bad bang trim a few weeks back I was seriously upset and felt like I could not for the life of me style my own hair.  My hair is extremely fine, which makes things even more difficult.  Straightening it didn’t look right, but at the same time I don’t really want to Bombshell it every.single.day.  I wanted something that was easy and in between that I could feel good about at the end of the day.

So in my moments of rage against my hair I got on Bumble and Bumble’s website to see what I could find out.  Desperate?  Yes.  Did you know that they have videos and tips on their site?  Jackpoottt.  They also have a YouTube channel with tutorial videos.  I found the above video that demonstrates how to create “beachy volume” and I’m hooked.  Luckily enough, being the Bumble product junkie that I am, I had the two prodcuts you needed and could easily recreate the look.  I think why this works so well for me is because it adds the texture to my hair that I am so desperate for.  When your hair is fine, sometimes it can look too soft (does that even make sense?), and then in turn look flat.  The texture from the Surf Spray gives it that little “oomph” that I need and I like that this creates waves, but doesn’t look too done up for every day.  I’m telling ya, you’ve got to try it!

Oh, and in case you were wondering, I did get that bang trim situation squared away:)

I've been wanting the Surf Spray for a while, but now that I know they've got tutorials to help me use it right I'll definitely have to bite the bullet. Thanks!
