Number One / Le Jus

You might remember last week that when I posted about a pair of Repetto Camo-print ballerina flats I’m obsessing over, I mentioned that I saw them at the opening of Number One / Le Jus.  I’m finally getting around to sharing the photos I took that night (two weeks ago) because I can’t get the little café & juice bar off my mind… Number One is a new store concept in Highland Park Village, and Le Jus is the café and heart of the space – it serves up specialty and all organic juices, coffees, delicious small plates, and baked…

You might remember last week that when I posted about a pair of Repetto Camo-print ballerina flats I’m obsessing over, I mentioned that I saw them at the opening of Number One / Le Jus.  I’m finally getting around to sharing the photos I took that night (two weeks ago) because I can’t get the little café & juice bar off my mind… Number One is a new store concept in Highland Park Village, and Le Jus is the café and heart of the space – it serves up specialty and all organic juices, coffees, delicious small plates, and baked goods (gluten-free foodies rejoice!).  The opening allowed Sally and me an opportunity to taste a few things and both of us were so impressed with the complex flavors and freshness.  And for anyone who has tasted Blue Bottle Coffee (a San Francisco legacy) you will be excited to know that they brew their coffee at No. 1/Le Jus!  So happy I get to re-live the New Orleans cold-brewed coffee I had when Sal and I visited San Fran.

So aside from the tasty treats, I think you can tell that I was pretty enamoured by the space itself… It’s so unique and perfectly nestled in Highland Park Village.  Definitely a new go-to spot for early weekend mornings and a place to take out-of-towners when they come to visit.  I only wish that the baby Frenchie we met at the opening would be there full time!
