Wink, Wink

July 31, 2013

Love picking up pieces that have a little something extra. A simple silk skirt with a high-low hem, a top with cross-stitch pattern and open black, a clutch that (omg) winks. Fun separates on their own, I didn’t know if they would all look okay together but I’m pretty pleased with how the look came together. Don’t kill me—half of what’s pictured is sold out (so typical now that summer is winding down) but I did my best to mind fab substitutes!! Some Sales + Steals

One more day, one more day til we leave for our jaunt to Chi town early (5:45 am early) tomorrow morning. So, so screaming excited. Most especially because temperatures are supposed to be around 106-108 here (not kidding) and will be in the 70’s in Chicago.  Couldn’t be more perfect. Molly and I found some killer goods for sale last night and she ordered this dress from the Outnet at an amazing price. I actually own it in another color and it fits.like.a.dream. We’re also both obsessing over the pastel-colored fish earrings and the versatility we would find in the J.Crew sandals. Great going into fall! Oh, and the brand who makes that eye-mask, Kumi Kookoon, is one of Bailey’s favorites and she swears by their 100% natural and allergen free products – even sells some at Biscuit!

Summer Casual

July 30, 2013

Casual does not mean sloppy. Sloppy says, “Meh, I forgot to brush my teeth this morning and threw on some dirty clothes I found on my floor before running out the door to get a coffee.” Sometimes sloppy calls to me and I do it without regret (re: Sundays are the perfect day for this) but you can typically find me in casual. Casual says, “These clothes are cute and also happen to be really comfortable. Packing for Chi City

July 29, 2013

This Thursday my boyfriend and I are heading to the Windy City for a long weekend of exploring the city (its his first time) and attending Lollapalooza with some long-time friends. We’ve had this trip planned for months, and I’m so excited that its finally here. Each year we try to take a trip with just the two of us – there is just something about planning and executing a trip together. Since most of our time in the city will be spend at the fest, were trying to get as much packed in to the other days as we…
