A nearly naked sports bra

August 29, 2013

It just gets easier and easier to find cool workout gear these days…let’s face it, being able to put on a cute outfit is one of my few motivations to get to the gym. If you more of an outside workout kind of girl I suggest taking a look at Naked Sports Gear. It’s not as revealing as it sounds (: Micromesh fabric is used in all the places that don’t need coverage and allows the sun’s rays to work through the fabric—keeping you from getting a racerback tan-line. It’s not as revealing as it sounds (: Micromesh fabric is used in all the places that don’t need coverage and allows the sun’s rays to work through the fabric—keeping you from getting a racerback tan-line. I got to try out a Naked Sports Bra and even though I’m more of an indoor workout kind of girl, I loved how lightweight the whole situation was and it didn’t feel as constrictive as my normal sports bras do. The tie-dye fabric is so fab I found myself wanting to show it off…gym scandal, I tell ya.

P.S. Today is the LAST day to enter the amazing Tata Harper giveaway – 5 of our favorites will go to two lucky readers! Enter here.

That Eye Liner…

…And that shirt! I fell in love with both last week on Inastagram via Reformation. I mean, have you ever seen such a pretty girl wearing such a sassy blouse? I’m not sure I could pull off the blouse (mostly because I could only wear it outside of work) but I’m all about trying to replicate the eye liner model Nellie Anderson was rocking. I’ve been practicing my liner skills since my friends at Make Up For Ever taught me some application tricks this this good stuff, but I’m still trying to nail the perfect cat eye. Does anyone have…

I’ve been practicing my liner skills since my friends at Make Up For Ever taught me some application tricks this this good stuff, but I’m still trying to nail the perfect cat eye. Does anyone have a perfect pencil or liner pen they’ve used a loved? I’ve been doing some make-up stalking and have heard good things about the below…And if you’re like Sally – not into liner – she loves using a nude pencil for the inside rim of her lower lash line. Really makes her eyes look bigger! So share some beauty dish with me guys – I want to know your fave liners!

P.S. This sweatshirt and this sweater by Reformation…so good. So want.

BlueFly Traveling Handbag (win a Givenchy Bag!)

What’s better than winning something amazing? Um, nothing. I guess the only thing better is when it’s easy to enter! The stunning orange Givenchy bag you see in the pictures above is a magic traveling bag that made stops around the country be with bloggers from New York, to San Francisco, to Dallas (that’s us!), to Miami, and back to New York. Sally and I got to style the bag alongside some incredible bloggers…we chose to let the bright hue take center stage against neutrals, and a little pattern, a pop of lip color and a shiny shoe. Take a look at how the other four bloggers styled the tote and enter to win the bag by following a few easy steps!

1. Vote! Like the page and pick a favorite look and you’re entered to win a Givenchy Nightengale Zanzi Tote – just like the one styled! (retail value at $2,180) Our favorite part of the bag? The pretty pale blue interior lining and strap options.

2. Hurry. Like, really hurry. Voting ends at the end of TODAY. One voter will be chosen to win the bag and announced August 29th.

3. Buy a Saint Jude candle, lucky rabbit foot, four leaf clover, or whatever other magical talismans you need and cross all your fingers and toes that you win.

4. The blogger who wins the most number of votes gets to keep the Givenchy Nightengale tote and will curate an exclusive selection of items on Belle & Clive. It goes without saying that we want to win. Orange is the new pink, you know…

So have you voted? Kind of fun to see all the different ways one bag can be styled, isn’t it… Good luck, everyone!!

Just kidding, we know exactly what to do with that closet space…the move to our new apartment (still in Dallas) will officially be complete when cable and internet are installed in approximately one hour. Sally and I are exhausted but after taking long showers last night we are feeling almost back to normal and pretty much human (save for the tired feet and sore arms and legs). We owe a lot of thanks to the movers who carried all stuff up the stairs to our new third floor apartment and even more thanks to our mom who flew down to help us unpack, hang art, and get organized.

Yes…we will be sharing pictures of the new place. Patience, patience friends! Until then keep an eye out for details and vignettes on our Instagram (:
