That Eye Liner…

…And that shirt! I fell in love with both last week on Inastagram via Reformation. I mean, have you ever seen such a pretty girl wearing such a sassy blouse? I’m not sure I could pull off the blouse (mostly because I could only wear it outside of work) but I’m all about trying to replicate the eye liner model Nellie Anderson was rocking. I’ve been practicing my liner skills since my friends at Make Up For Ever taught me some application tricks this this good stuff, but I’m still trying to nail the perfect cat eye. Does anyone have…

Does anyone have a perfect pencil or liner pen they’ve used a loved? I’ve been doing some make-up stalking and have heard good things about the below…And if you’re like Sally – not into liner – she loves using a nude pencil for the inside rim of her lower lash line. Really makes her eyes look bigger! So share some beauty dish with me guys – I want to know your fave liners!

P.S. This sweatshirt and this sweater by Reformation…so good. So want.

  1. I love the Bobbi Brown cream because it’s easier to apply than liquid liner – it’s a great practice liner! But it tends to dry up a little as it ages… Once I got used to the cat eye motion, I tried (and loved!) Lancôme’s liquid liner for a more perfect and long lasting cat eye.

  2. use the Bobbi Brown gel eyeliner with the Giorgio Armani angled eye liner brush!! It’s fool proof and after trying every type of liquid, pencil, etc. this provides the best cat eye everyday and never smudges!

  3. I am in LOVE with 100% Pure’s gel liner in Black Tea (plus its vegan and natural). It is so easy to use and for a gel liner is pretty forgiving! I prefer to use gel liners instead of a liquid; I feel is is a lot easier to control! I also use a Real Techniques liner brush for the perfect application! I wear a cat eye almost every day; playing around with shape and boldness. It just takes practice practice practice ( and lots of qtips 😉 ) Just have fun with it though!
Keep it sweet and stylish- as always!

  4. I guess I’m in the minority but I don’t like the shirt. I think it’s vulgar — not sassy. I can’t imagine a situation where it would be appropriate. I know. I sound like a 28 year old memaw now. 🙂 But I think the world needs a little more love and class and less of this in-your-face tastlessness masquerading as edgy and sassy.

  5. I agree with Alyssa. I am hopeless at most liquid eyeliner, but the Bobby Brown gel pot is amazing. Definitely buy the perfect little brush that they use. I tried to get by with a cheaper model from Target and it’s not the same. The good thing about it is that you control how much you put on the brush, so it’s never goopy. You start out light and as you get more comfortable you can get more and more dramatic.

  6. Love the embroidery!

I really like the liner pen from Revlon! I think it’s super easy to control and didn’t take me long to perfect.

  7. I live on bobby browns gel liner in the little pot … and I’ve tried em all and can honestly its the best!

  8. hahaha love the photo! I have been wearing liquid eyeliner for years and that’s actually all I wear anymore! I’ve tried all brands from low to high price points and I keep going back to L’oreal Lineur Intense.
