Have I told you all about my love/hate relationship with football season? One side (the majority) of me hates the fact that football seems to take over my boyfriend/our weekends together and often times his overall mood.  Not to mention that I have never understood the sport. Ever. Growing up, our family used to go to Notre Dame games fairly regularly and I always felt like I never knew what was going on, so one year I googled the rules of football and tried to learn them before a family trip to South Bend. No luck, I guess it just wasn’t my thing.  This many years later and my interest level or lack of interest in the sport still remains the same. Maybe things will change if I have boys and they play football and I’m forced to learn the game? So there’s the hate side of things.  My love for football season is over the fact that it creates the most perfect excuse to have a lazy weekend on the couch filled with yummy food, baking cookies, and regular naps.  Oh, and playtime with the pups during commercials. Lets just say that that is just the kind of weekend I need right now, so in this very moment and until Sunday, I love football season:)

P.S. Our friend Jess at Black.Blonde.Brunette did a Q+A feature with Molly that’s really fun – you all should check it out! I’m excited to answer the questions next time!

  1. Okay, I’m a total fashion lover, which is how I stumbled upon your blog via luellajune.com, however I love football. I began to like it for the same reason why you hate it, I lost my boyfriend (now husband) to it every weekend. Now, it’s a big part of our fun memories together. My advice to you for learning the sport is clear, easy and simple, FOLLOW THE BALL AT ALL TIMES and the rest will come. It’s my best advice for anything and everything in life and it works!! Try it.

  2. Hah, I’m with you-I’ve never understood the rules of football! At least I know I’m not the only one. I love this round-up-I saw that New York City t-shirt at Cynthia Rowley’s store a few weeks ago and I think it’s fantastic. I like that spike necklace and the marbled box too. Hope you have a great weekend, despite the football 🙂
