Strangely, this is one of the first years that I can remember where it kind of feels like we are experiencing a fall. Dallas is known for somewhat of a lack of seasons – meaning it often seems to go from being hot to cold with no middle ground. We don’t get much of the changing leaves like we grew up with which is definitely a funny feeling. Growing up we lived in older neighborhoods with huge trees which meant huge piles of leaves each fall. And of course, weekend chores of having to help rake the yard for hours. Woof. Despite the lack of many color-changing trees, our mornings have been crisp and the days have too. You definitely need a sweater and I have stopped wearing open toe shoes except for when I am going to Barre class. Hooray for fall! I think that I will finally unpack my winter wear and pack up my summer wear. Enjoy the roundup of some of our favorite fall-colored pieces. We’re living in navy, emerald and olive greens, and warm oxblood and plum colors and loving every minute of it.
