When Molly and I moved into our apartment, we realized that we lived just minutes from a Pure Barre Studio. I was feeling as if I was in a total slump with my workouts and have known Barre to be a great workout especially for “big booty” girls like ourselves. Shortly after school started, I started taking up regular Barre classes and am now obsessed. The workout is right up my alley – not too much cardio, the class goes by fast, and you feel sore which assures me that it must be working. Once Molly left her day job, she jumped on the Pure Barre bandwagon with me and were now both regulars. Last week I went 7 days (!!), which is a personal record for me. I can tell you right now that never in my life have I enjoyed a workout so much that I wanted to go every day of the week, including weekends.
With as much as we have been working out, its safe to say that I have exercise apparel on the brain. Especially since I only do laundry every two weeks (if I’m lucky). I definitely own enough workout tops (these tops by Gwyneth are our new personal favorites – love the longer length since we’re so tall!) to get me through my usual two weeks before laundry, but pants are where I am lacking. Anthropologie recently added a slew of workout gear and I can’t get enough of their cool printed pants. Some of the pants they have are by a brand called Onzie that makes SO many cool patterns. Definitely adding those to the top of my workout wear wish list!
