Last Sunday = our third day at Fashion Week. We went to the gorgeous Lela Rose show in the morning then headed to a fun blogger brunch hosted by Mackenzine of Design Darling (more on that later today!). Our final show of the week was Tracy Reese—a highlight for us because it meant seeing the two machine-washable looks she created in partnership with Tide Pods and the CFDA Washable Fashion Initiative walk the runway. After the show we made our way to the Nolita area with Amy and Mary to visit OTTE‘s newest store and do a little shopping…loved getting to visit with our girl Rose and see the latest from their in-house label (where all our favorite basics come from). As we left the shop it started snowing so we walked to The Smile, a little restaurant/bar introduced to us a few years earlier by our New Yorker friends. When the wine we shared was finished we walked out into more falling snow and made a stop by legendary Magnolia Bakery on Bleecker Street. The quaintness of the shop and the smells of fresh baked goods made for an intoxicating experience and it was kind of magical leaving there to head back to our hotel to devour cupcakes while more snow fell outside.
