We all know that denim has one of the highest mark-ups around and sometimes it seems silly to pay a tall price tag for dyed cotton. For instance, I just bought two pairs of these white jeans because the fit is good and they are so inexpensive (comparatively) that I figured I would get two and wear them all summer without worrying about wear, tear, stains, and dirt. I’ve spent a lot of time wearing jeans that are “good” but not “great.” A lot of women talk about their “skinny jeans” that make them feel like a million bucks and offer an optical illusion that they can’t get with any other pair…I wanted my optical illusion! My mama and grandma passed down their hips to me and while I’m happy with the bod I have, we all have our insecurities and the hips happen to be mine.
My friend Bradley posted about FRAME Denim in January and after months of wanting to try them on for myself, I got my tush into Canary last month and got myself a pair of Le Skinny de Jeanne. Girls, FRAME is no joke. The stretch, the length (down to the ankle for someone 5’8″ is a dream!), the washes, and the continual fit make me think that there are unicorn hairs woven with the cotton. I wear my pair all the time and they never get that scary baggy but or feel too loose. Now I get why women rave about “skinny jeans” because now that I have mine, dressing is a little bit nicer. Oh they also make boyfriend-style jeans too – and I hear they are great (: If you live in Dallas, head to Canary to try on all their styles and washes of FRAME. And if you’re not in the Big D, shop them online here, here and here!
