HMK Modern Monogramming

Now that it’s summer and school is out (for the kids and teachers!) I feel like I can really relax and unwind. It feels so summery to sip a fresh drink and I’ve been indulging in my  favorite cocktail, a Greyhound – a straightforward and simple mix of grapefruit juice and vodka (I prefer Tito’s). This past week Molly and I hosted a friend for some catching up and cocktails. I made the drinks and was so excited to use a new lucite tray and linen cocktail napkins with my soon to be new monogram.

As a surprise after my engagement, Molly gifted me with the entertaining pieces she picked out and had made at HMK. She’s just the best maid of honor and sister. The “W” is the first letter of my fiancé’s last name and the “S” and “R” are our first initials – I love that she incorporated both of us into the gift and they’ll be perfect in our San Fran apartment.

Similar to the other personalized gifts we’ve gotten from HMK. Molly visited the store in Southlake Town Square, picked out items and chose ways to customize them with the help of the store specialists. Both the tray and napkins were finished in under an hour and Molly left with them in hand. I seriously could not believe the quality of both and I’m in love the modern-looking monograms and the hue of the napkins (yellow is a favorite color).

I’m considering going to the HMK store myself to get trays for a few couples with upcoming weddings…for any of you thinking the same idea, stop by the SouthlakeKansas City, and Denver store locations or contact one of them to place orders over the phone. You can learn more about the custom services they offer here!
