Our last day at the beach was Friday…we drove the 12 hours back to Dallas on Saturday and it was very sad to say goodbye to 30A and our spot on Rosemary Beach. What can we say about the trip? It was relaxing, we had a great time with our family (especially our brother Scott who’s 14 months younger than Molly and our sweet grandparents Mimi & Papa), Blue Moonbeam was exceptionally well behaved, we came back with some nice tans (no burns thanks to this stuff!), and we brought back many shopping souvenirs from our favorite beach boutiques. Among the things we got are the Lemlem tunic and hoodie you see above. We found them from the great selection of cover-ups, bikinis, and other great beachy items at Ophelia – a cute swimwear shop we always hit up when in Seacrest. We’ve never owned any Lemlem before but have always coveted the bright striped pieces and admired the Ethiopian craftsmanship that goes into them. The assortment at Ophelia was too good to pass up and we were all to pleased to wear our new scoop on our final beach day.
The only thing that made it easier to leave the white sands was knowing that we will both be back in the area come this fall…stay tuned for more details about the exciting opportunity we will be partaking in as we get closer to October!
