Cheetah Loafers

December 11, 2014

Welp, schools are closed in San Francisco today due to an enormous rainstorm but I can't complain about having the day off to catch-up on sleep and holiday shopping. Even though it's not currently sunny I still love this outfit I was wearing on my last trip to Dallas. A little cheetah goes a long way and I've been crazy about these Loeffler Randall loafers since I put them on my feet a few months ago. Lucky for you guys - they're currently on sale along with all the other mark-downs on the site! Mol and I took these shots in front of Weekend coffee at The Joule and I got really jealous when she told me she had one of their homemade pop tarts yesterday...

I can’t believe I get to head back to Texas on the 19th – next Friday!!! – so that Molly and I can drive back home to Kansas City, MO with Blue to spend Christmas with our fam. I’ve requested a full day in Dallas before the drive so I can visit all the favorite people I’m missing (especially my friend Hannah’s new, sweet baby girl) and eat at the restaurants and taco spots I’ve been dreaming about.

I wish I had more to report but I’m wiring this from bed and it’s hard to concentrate when I have a day of sweet nothingness ahead of me! I might even have to start a new book…comment with any great recommendations if you feel like it. We’re almost to Friday, people!

P.S. Don’t forget that today is the last day to enter the Pottery Barn Movie Basket giveaway! Get all the directions for entering here and good luck!

  1. not sure what you like to read, but “Daring: My Passages” by gail sheehey is excellent – my favorite read in 2014. “Shantaram” by Gregory David Roberts is beautiful, but for something less heavy (literally and figuratively) try “The Many lives and secret sorrows of josephine b” by sandra gulland.

    hope you enjoy!
