Grey + White is Nice

January 30, 2015

Raise your hand if your excited for the Puppy Bowl this weekend! Blue is just counting down the hours till he gets to feast his eyes on hours of Animal Planet cuteness come Sunday...and then I guess we might watch that Super Bowl thing too. Hims got very emotional while watching the preview of this year's Budewiser commercial. Basically, we are excited for some weekend time. The other thing we are excited about? Announcing the winner of the $500 Margaret Elizabeth Jewelry giveaway tomorrow! If you haven't entered yet it's okay - you still have time - just scoot over to this post and get your name in before midnight tonight...

This week I got really spoiled with quality time with friends. I got to see five of my favorite girls and my heart is just so full and happy after getting to catch up with them. Aside from that quality goodness, Dallas experienced some insanely beautiful weather this week and I almost felt guilty taking advantage of the sunshine and warmth with all the places in the northeast that are snowed under. To all my friends living in the cold – my apartment is always ready to host visitors!

I don’t have much else to report but I should point out that the J.Crew blouse I’m wearing here is one that I’ve gotten a ton of wear out of and certain colors of it are on sale. Being the monochromatic mama I am (hence the name of this post) I think I might get it in “snow” before it sells out.

Hope you all have a great Friday and wonderful weekend! Just don’t forget to enter the giveaway!!

  1. A couple of summers ago, I wore a gray linen flyaway cardigan over a lavender tank with white jeans. I got so many compliments on the color combination. I might have to revisit it this spring and summer!

  2. Love this look, molly! may i ask what size you get the j.crew blouse in/how does the sizing run?

    1. Hi Kara! I wear a size 2 in the top – I’d say it’s true to size, I went with the 2 because I wanted it to be long enough to tuck in and a bit more blouse-y!
      xx – M
