Styling the Tassel Wrap Two Ways

December 13, 2016

As promised in this post from last week, here we are styling our Mer-Sea x APOT Tassel Travel Wraps! We've only had our wraps since last Tuesday - and they've only been available to buy since last Thursday - and already we've been wearing them non-stop. They are great for travel (hence the name) but really ideal for wrapping and layering for everyday wear. To show just how seamlessly they can transition, Sally styled her wrap for a day of travel and Molly styled hers for being out and about...

.Sally: I’ve got my go-to airport and plane outfit down – skinny jeans, sneakers, button-up shirt, and a Mer-Sea Wrap in my tote. This time of year I get especially chilly in airports and while on a plane but I try to pack my jackets and coats in my suitcase so that I don’t have to carry the added bulk in my arms. For this reason, having a puffy vest along with the wrap is a great added layer.

.Molly: The weather in Dallas has been flip-flopping like crazy. Cold and rainy will swing into warm and sunny then shift to foggy and chilly, etc. I’ve been trying to roll with the erratic temps and conditions by switching up my outwear choices and my Tassel Wrap has been perfect for staying cozy no matter what it’s like outside. The heathered cream/oatmeal color works great with other neutrals (gray, black, darker browns, etc.)!

As noted in Molly’s post last week, the wrap is machine washable (so necessary when wearing it for travel!), lightweight enough to pack and carry on but super soft and cozy, and it comes with a pouch made in the same material that can be used as a cover for airline-sized pillows.

The Travel Wraps make for great holiday gifts (we should know – we got our first Mer-Sea wraps as presents years ago) and you can order yours online here. PSA: If you live in Kansas City and don’t want to order the Tassel Wrap online, it’s being sold at O-Home!
