How about that storm Stella? It's cold today in Dallas but I'm not about to complain when the east coast is being pounded with snow and seriously frigid temps. Stay warm, my friends! I kind of wish I had more of a bundled-up look to share on such a blustery day, but this wrap-tie top is a semi-new favorite that I've loved wearing and am excited to share.
I find tops that cross in the front to be super flattering. Fun fact: this style, where two halves of the front cross diagonally across the chest, is actually called a “surplice top.” Whether it’s a drape-y fit that ties at the side (like I have on here) or more of a fitted ballerina silhouette, the v-neck and wrap usually gives good definition to your waist and pretty, feminine neckline.
I’m into it…especially because I love outfits that have a “dressy casual” look and pairing tops with a little structure and finish with distressed jeans is a go-to.
More wrap-tie tops to love: this is such a pretty pale rose-colored silk, I have this one (seen here) and it’s so soft and like a great elevated t-shirt, this floral pattern is so moody yet pretty, love this fitted metallic sweater with tone-on-tone pink hues, the deep red of this one would look great with lighter wash jeans going into spring, and if you’re looking to up the feminine factor, the relaxed ruffle on this soft style is perfect.
