Well, well, well...what do we have here but a second Mi Golondrina look of the week. The double header wasn't necessarily planned - but Sally and I are constantly wearing our Mi Golondrina during these hot, hot days so it kind of makes sense that this happened. Unlike the floral embroidery work on the skirt Sally wore in her Tuesday post, this off the shoulder top showcases a technique called "deshilado" - which means "to pull out threads." The intricate bands of deshilado work on the sleeves it what take the style and silhouette to the next level...and makes it a Mi Golondrina original.
I actually have another Mi Go off the shoulder style that’s white with rose “filigrina” detail on the sleeves (like this one) but I couldn’t pass up the mini gingham and different sleeve design of the one I have on here. That’s the thing about each handmade Mi Golondrina piece being one-of-a-kind, you’re always seeing pieces in a new color-way, design, or fabric that you can’t live without. You can shop all the off the shoulder styles here!
