I think by now we all know that white can in fact be worn after Labor Day. No one is going to arrest you...there's no such thing as Fashion Police. In my world this goes for both dresses and jeans. As long as they don't scream "summer!!" with the style or fabric, you're good. And really, the September and October months are my favorite to wear white jeans because it's too warm during the summer to do so.
One of my fave ways to wear white denim is paired with blue denim, chambray, or indigo-dyed pieces. It's like a better Canadian tuxedo...
I recently got this Ruffle-Side Shirt from Madewell and it’s the best. I wasn’t sure the boxy shape would work on me but I feel like it looks really relaxed and flattering when styled with a little front tuck. It’s SO soft and I think the subtle side ruffles give it a less edgy look. Oh, and it’s on sale for Madewell insiders!
The other Indigo-dyed and ruffle part of this post are the Vera Ruffle Slides. I had my eye on this Loeffler Randall style for a while and finally splurged a couple weeks ago. So glad I did because they’re by far the most comfortable “heel” I own right now. Love how they look with a cropped jean and especially a white pair!
Anyone else embracing white now that we’re into September??
