Silk Wrap Blouse

November 7, 2017

Have you heard/seen?! Cuyana has popped up in Dallas! Their retail location is in Northpark Mall - between Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom - and it's stocked with most all of the same timeless essentials you see on their website - and they do in-store personalizing for the leather pieces (!). Sally and I have been fans of Cuyana since they launched years ago (even got to chat with one of the founders about their first collections while she was in Dallas for the pop-up launch) and the continue to wow us with well-made pieces that are carefully detailed and truly timeless. Based on the foundation of "fewer, better," Cuyana has a core collection of pieces (clothing, leather goods, and accessories) that never leave the line and each season they introduce a few new styles or limited edition colors. You've seen me wear the Silk Slip Dress multiple times over the years (still freaking love it) but today I'm showing off a recent silk acquisition: the Silk Wrap Blouse.

I can’t remember when this wrap blouse style was released, all I know is that I saw it and immediately wanted it on my body. In typical Cuyana fashion, it’s not just a typical wrap top…it has a flattering v-neckline (duh) but with concealed baby snaps so that the piece that “wraps” stays put. Genius. It also has a pleat on the back – a nice touch that also makes for an easy, drapy fit. The front part where the wrapping action is happening is secured at the bottom and has really pretty pleating detail…so pretty that you really don’t need to tuck it in (like I did) if you don’t want to.

If you’re having hearts for eyes over the blouse I get it. But hurry! Sizes in the all white are really selling out. Definitely get on the waitlist to be notified if your size is gone! That said, there’s a nude and white stripe version that’s gorgeous and fully stocked.

And…in case you were wondering…yes, I am wearing the same J.Crew jeans and same earrings Sally wore in her post from last Friday. My own jeans (we have the same pair) but borrowed the earrings. Because we like to twin and we’re also good at sharing.
