quick pops!

Summer is just around the river bend and that means that our weather in Dallas is heating up.  Maybe I was being a baby, but I was sweattinggg today in my cardigan and had to blast the air conditioner while in my car.  But hey, not complaining!  Since it will be my first summer to actually live in Texas (I always went home for summers during college), I have BIG plans to buy one of these Zoku Quick Pop makers to get me through the scorching Texas summer.

These things are totally magical.  Seriously.  In just seven minutes you can have fresh and fruity popsicles straight from your freezer.  (And I'm not just telling you this because I read up on it, I've actually seen one of of these guys in action) All you have to do is make sure that the base is pre-frozen in the freezer and then fill it with your favorite fruit juice, sliced fruit, or yogurt for some healthy but yummy summertime snacks.  I am envisioning slicing up some peaches and strawberries for mine.  And maybe freezing some Simply Lemonade raspberry lemonade?  Am I getting ahead of myself?  I just love stuff like this, and I love eating fresh fruit in the summer-time.

Do you think my boyfriend will get the hint from this posting and buy me one of these puppies for an "It's Summertime gift"?  Hint, hint!

These. Are. So. Cool.

You girls find the cutest things! Not that it's nearly warm enough for popsicles on the east coast (jealous of you!) but this is going on my wishlist for summer pronto : )

This is amazing! I will be investing in one as soon as I break out my sandals.
