perfect buns every time

Goody’s “Spin Pins” have become my new best friend.  See those little coil-looking things in the pictures above?  Those are actually for your hair and when used together create the perfect bun – every time.  I had never been able to perfect the low bun in my hair because my hair is too thin and it always looked kind of ridiculous pulled back in a bun.  But seriously, these spin pins are amazing little gadgets.  They hold your hair in a bun all day long.  And the bun is perfect – not too tight and nothing that resembles a prom up-do gone wrong with bobby pins spilling out all over the place.  I also like how they come in a blonde color and a brunette color.  I am kind of weird about making sure my bobby pins and pony tail holders match my hair.

Once again, these puppies are another thing I learned from my sweet mama.  I’m telling ya, she is da best.  She finds all of the great things long before everyone else does!

I've been using them almost every day for the last 3 weeks and LOVING them, too!

OMG, thank you!!!! I'm a huge fan of the low bun (read: on days when my hair will just not cooperate) but I'm always having to check on the bobby pins throughout the day, and inevitably I have to redo my hair. This is awesome. Can't wait to try!

How long is your hair? I've been using these and have SUPER thick hair which I thought would work well with the spirals but can't seem to get the bun to stay in place!

I am dying to try one of these in my hair! But I am worried that my hair might be too thick for it to work/I won't ever be able to figure out how to get it in my hair properly. I'll be on the lookout for these at the drugstore.

I have been looking for these for 15 years!!!! I bought two of them when I lived in Japan and I loved them but eventually lost them. I knew they were made in the U.S.A. but could never find them. Where can I buy them??? I live in Canada now.

Sockey: We found are spin pins are Target… They are made by the brand "Goody" which is fairly easy to find at pharmacies and even grocery stores (Walgreens, CVS, etc.). Hope that helps! You can also order them online from Amazon and Walgreens!! Make sure to get a color that will match your hair!!!
