Between the ghost chairs and these lucite clutches, I am clearly on a little lucite streak these days. Must be the perfectly warm weather we’ve been having. It’s making me excited for all that comes with summer time!
Check out the 5th picture above – the one with the girl in jeans and a stack of bracelets. Would you believe me if I told you that she made that lucite clutch? I found this little DIYer on Honestly WTF and had to share. Because I am obsessed with lucite after all.
So, all you need for this little project is a clear rectangular hinged box from the Container Store, a neat knob (hers is from Anthro…I’m liking this one), and some of the man-friends power tools. It takes all of about 5 minutes and you’ve got yourself a pretty legit little lucite carryall for the summer months. Just make sure you keep it organized in there, because there’s no hiding your mess in a transparent clutch!
P.S. When I was telling my mom about this project, of course she says, “Oh my gosh I actually have a little lucite clutch from yearssss ago.” Go figure. That little minx has been holding out on us this entire time.
