I am a nail painting fanatic (and Sally is too) – I’ve got a super steady hand and about 30+ fun colors of nailpolish in my possession so I end up painting my nails about twice a week.
Up until yesterday I had never been a fan of using top coat clear polish. I thought “it’s too thick, it takes forever to dry, it smudges, it makes the color under it peel/chip faster.” Well that all changed when I woke up with major “bed rumples” on my nails yesterday morning (you know, when you paint your nails at night and then they get imprints from your bed sheets? Anyone?) – they looked horrible but I didn’t have time to take off the polish before work. My sister Grace had given me Essie’s “good to go!” top coat along with some festive nail colors for Christmas so I grabbed it on my way out the door and quickly applied a coat when I got to the office…
My nails look amazing. Not only did the top coat live up to its claim of being the “fastest drying top coat” and drying in record time, but the formula was the perfect balance of “thickness” without being goopy or hard to apply and it literally dries rock hard. They are so glossy I keep looking at them and thinking I got a manicure (something I haven’t gotten since high school)! No smudges, no chips (something I usually have by day two after painting), no peeling. I am kind of ashamed I called myself a nail fanatic before using this stuff and I’m never painting my fingers or toes without using it again!

I am the worst at having my nails painted due to an incurable impatient streak. My cousin introduced the concept of shellack at the nail salon to me this weekend. It leaves a phenomenal look for a $30 treat … I am definitely looking into it.
I'm on my third bottle of good to go! I love this stuff!
I've been reading your blog for a while and love it! I have to say, after this post I went and bought some Good to Go and absolutely love it! My nails look professionally manicured and it did dry super fast! Thanks for the rec
Oh my goodness – you weren't kidding about the power of Good to Go. Just bought it and applied it – fab, fab! It dried in no time and like you, my nails look AMAZING! Yay!
