Life is too short...

The hand in that first picture – the shot of a perfect manicure with pretty blue nails – belongs to our mama.  You’re squealing right?  We all know that Kate Spade’s spring 2011 mantra/ad campaign is “Live Colorfully”... KS doesn’t divulge into much detail behind the conceptual meaning behind the campaign but just from looking at the ads I feel encouraged to add more happy bright colors to my wardrobe and accessories to evoke a little happy, bright splash of wit and fun!  And what better way to live colorfully than with bright, bold nails? 

The other images of bright nails above are a few I’ve collected for my trips to the beauty store when I need/want a new nail color.  It’s a hot trend right now and I’m so happy to see my mom jumping on the bandwagon!  I’m pretty sure she was inspired my me and Sally Ann – we have about 6 different blue nail color hues between us (I'm curently wearing Essie's mesmerize) and lots of purples, greens, neons, oranges (the list goes on…).  You've got to walk the talk, ya know?  After all, life is much too short to sport boring nail colors :)
