I Jump on Bandwagons Sometimes

I know, I know – Jenna Lyons home from Domino is legit 2.5 years old.  You all have seen it on a babillion other blogs.  But this toasty blog is suppose to be kind of like a virtual journal for me and sister Sal soooo, “Dear diary, I’m posting on these images of the breath-taking home of Jenna because I probably think about it twice a week…”

This home has always commanded my attention.  I love it’s old bones, neutral undertones and the unifying black and yellow that run throughout.  You’d think it’d be a hideous turnout with the color choices but it just works.  Every ceiling fixture is perfect and every piece of furniture looks well selected but also like they didn’t dwell on every decision… I just picture the decorating process for them being like, “Meh, comfy couch – let’s make it yellow… Oooh I like furry rugs – let’s put them everywhere… Black.  Black is nice… Gimme some stripes somewhere, ok?”  It’s Jenna magic and it will always inspire me.  But I probably won’t let any baby of mine sleep in a black room – that’s just a wee bit too much on the edge.  However, those three little sheep in the fireplace are beyonddd adorable :)
