Created by Felissimo, a Japanese Design House, “500 pencils” is so beyond crazy-cool that I really have no words to describe it. Basically, what it is is a “subscription” where you pay $33 USD a month for a collection of colored pencils. But this isn’t just any collection of colored pencils. Its a collection of 500 colored pencils. The subscription lasts 20 months and you receive 25 pencils a month. Totaling up to a collection of 500 colored pencils. Each set of 25 pencils is a group of similar hues.
Although colored pencils are usually meant to make art, Felissimo created the concept with the idea that the pencils would be the art. So they also give you the option to subscribe to cases that come each month with the pencils and can easily be mounted on the wall. I mean, are you hearing all of this? Do you catch my drift when I say that there are really no words? What a killer way to fill a big empty wall, right? And, all the while you’re incorporating every color of the rainbow.

that is a seriously cool piece of abstract art … the question is now, how do you transport it should you move? I guess that's where the cases come in handy … gosh they've thought of everything!
