For whatever reason I am completely and totally drawn to all things tortoise shell. From sunglasses, to home accessories, to jewelry – I love it all. There is something so Ralph Lauren and timeless about it, don’t you think? I think I adopted this love from our incredibly chic Mimi. She is the most stylish grandmother I know. No joke. I have never seen the woman dress “dowdy” in all of my life.
One of the things I love most about our Mimi’s style is the constant stack of bracelets donning her wrists. (Not like in a creepy, gypsy, cat lady way). She always wears the most amazing bracelets that she has gotten from their travels all over the world. And thrown in with her stack there are always a couple of thin little tortoise bracelets that somehow seem to pull it all together. Maybe this is where Molly and I learned to stack our wrists with pretties too.
So…when I saw this tortoise cuff on the Tory Burch website, I kind of decided that I have to have it. I think it will mix perfectly with my bracelet collection, but could also be worn alone as a great statement piece.
