As I mentioned in yesterday’s post (Part 1), the BHLDN boutique is comprised of three main salons. Yesterday I shared photos from the first salon that was designed to hold the brand’s colorful party dresses. When moving to the next and central salon, you will pass through an arched hallway with the most adorable light fixtures on the walls – light blubs with tiny feathered wings. Off of this hallway is a “décor room” lined with dark shelves and filled with keepsake treasures and tabletop pieces that would make any wedding special… Bottles with glitter, one-of-a-kind cake toppers, “will you be my bridesmaid?” cards, and tons more. A worktable and hand-cut glittery chandelier anchor this tiny room and encourage you to pull together your favorite elements to create a desired décor look.
The central salon is a boldly colored blue – made even more dramatic and lovely with the large carved wings that float overhead… Here we were able to admire and try on hairpieces, heels, caplets and gloves, and circle around fixtures full of jewelry (some pieces antiques scoured from France and some created for BHLDN by jeweler Debra Moreland). For the event there was a table with delicious treats to snack on – Sprinkles cupcakes (our favorite), addictive sweet potato chips, and melt-in-your-mouth French macarons (I finally got to try my first one and pretty much died and went to heaven!).
Near a small seating area with the most amazing coral-colored baroque-inspired couch is a selection of goods for the groom – a small collection of cufflinks and Forage bow ties… Located off one side of this salon is a small and intimate blush-colored room with drawers and fixtures holding delicate lingerie and underpinnings… I wish I had a dressing room like it!
Next up is the real treat – the bridal gown salon! Side note, I am wering OPI’s “No Room For The Blues” polish on my fingers.
