Have you all gotten a chance to check out Kate Spade’s fab capsule collection with celebrity stylists and designers (Current/Elliott) Emily Current and Meritt Elliott? If not, you need to hop over to the ks site pronto. The collection and campaign is titled “Westward,” inspired by the iconic eastcoast ks brand traveling west… The seven pieces are a true collaboration – Emily and Meritt infused the quality and simplistic style ideals are very much in line with Kate Spade’s brand benchmarking with a the laid back westcoast / Americana traveler aesthetic.
As much as I’m loving the bags (especially the westward wanderlust satchel above), the campaign is what’s really inspiring me… You can see from the images above that it still looks like a Kate Spade ad campaign – just with a little less preppy and a little more whimsy and vintage.
