They’ve done it again. Emerson Made has me by a leash these days and keeps pulling me back with all of their amazing new additions. This time, its coats and jackets. (Carter, you better be reading this post) Yes, I know I live in Dallas, Texas where a full fledged coat is only needed for about 3 months of the year – max. And yes, Molly, I know that I have more coats than you when you went to school in a winter wonderland for four years. But, I don’t care. I love a pretty, statement piece in a coat. After all, if you’re going to bundle up and sacrafice on other things in the winter (hello pale skin), you might as well rock an awesome winter coat. Right?
Of all the coats and jackets in my closet, I don’t own a single classic black coat. I’ve got bright orange, and leopard, and cream….but no black. So maybe its about time to invest in a nice black coat. The thing is though, that if its going to be black, it has to be in a really killer silhouette. Luckily Emerson has got me covered on options. My favorites are: the All Seasons Topper (perfect for the ever-changing weather down in Dallas), The Black and White Car Coat, and The London Coat. But I’ve got to say that the Olive Wool Day Coat is pretty fetching as well. Not to mention that olive looks TDF on a blonde. How does a girl choose? Maybe if Emerson, the owner of the company and model of the clothing, wasn’t so darn adorable in every single one of these coats and jackets it would make it easier for me to pick a favorite.

I am head over heels for just about everything from EmersonMade, the coats included. But I just finished throwing a little pity party for myself, since I live in Arizona and can barely justify a winter hoodie!
PS. Loving your blog!
OOoh, would have loved this coat the other night on the ocean.
