This Tuesday night Sally and I kind of felt like Cinderella girls – we got to borrow gorgeous party dresses while hosting the New For The Night launch event – and then we handed back the dresses the next day. As sad as we were to see them go, we can’t wait till we have a special event coming up that will allow us to shop on the New Fort The Night site again! Seriously, renting for a fraction of the retail price is such a genius concept for money conscious girls like us.
Another highlight of the night (as if the dresses, calamari, and champagne wasn’t enough) was meeting Kristi and Scot Redman - the talented married couple behind D Magazine’s StyleSheet. We definitely had an omgisthisreallyhappening moment when they asked to take our picture and they popped up on their site the next day. Thank you – we loved meeting you!
For those of you that stopped by the event, thank you so much! We loved getting to meet so many of you and have our friends supporting such a fantastic company (started by a Texas girl, no less!). The biggest thank you of the night goes out to Brittany Sakowitz – the NFTN founder – and her amazing team… Here’s to hoping they land a New For The Night showroom in Dallas so we can try before we borrow!
