A Bright Take on a Classic

Probably some one of the most practical pieces I own is my collection of blazers.  From classic navy, to khacki, to stripes I wear each one of them over and over.  When I found this bubble gum pink version while paroosing Gap’s website last week, I got SO screaming excited (it also comes in a neon green and red).  Do you all remember the Zara version of this that came out and sold out in the blink of an eye?  I have a feeling this Gap guy will sell pretty fast too.  I plan to scoop it up as soon as they run some sort of promotion.   Crossing my fingas that time comes sooner rather than later.

Although generally a bright pink color like this is thought of as a spring/summer color, I think this could absolutely be worn year round.  How killer would it look paired with black leather pants for right now (if only I owned some)?  In this weather I would probably throw it on with some dark skinny jeans and a grey infinity scarf.  Nothing like a bubble gum pink blazer to brighten a dull winter wardrobe, no?  Is anyone else sick of wearing black and grey from head to toe?

Can’t wait to score this puppy for my closet.  I think I will probably want to switch out the buttons with a pair of classic brass blazer style buttons like the Zara blazer had though, thoughts?

I love this! What a fun way to add a pop of color. I love classics, like a basic blazer, punched up in bold hues. Makes it so much more fun and unexpected!

When that Zara blazer was in stores last year I called them up and had them put one on hold for me, I was so obsessed. This one's adorable, too! I kind of want it in green!

I think this is a great piece! Now I'm tempted to go out and get my own pink blazer! I love how it brightens any look. I think the new buttons would make it even better :)

I definitely do a bit of variety on my outfit using my blazer and I'm surprised how I can create a lot of looks using it.
