Started by a young woman named Stacy Anne Longenecker living in Brooklyn, LEIF is the prettiest online shop I have seen in a long time. The shop sells things like glittery cake servers, pearlized teaspoons, beaded jewelry, and knit toothpick holders. Things you could probably never find anywhere else. Things you feel like you could make a million excuses in the world for why you just must have them in your life. I was honestly speechless at the overload of eye candy on this site.
The coolest part about all of it? Stacy does everything straight from her Brooklyn apartment. She photographs all of the products - are the images not insanely amazing? She also runs the site and blog from her apartment and handpicks everything that is sold on the site. And, its all her - she is doing all of this single handedly. Talk about one talented wonder woman. This girl has got some true taste as well as a knack for photography and graphics. I think it safe to say that Stacy is living out the dreams of half the young women I know.
Stacy describes the LEIF lifestyle as: "growing indoor citrus trees, matte pastels, a collection of vintage glass bottles that span the colors of the rainbow, old botanical and anotomical prints, Meyer lemon butter on freshly baked scones, various breeds of succulents scattered throughout the home, a garden full of vegetables, freshly cut flowers on a reclaimed wood kitchen table, idolizing Jean Seberg, slip on sneakers and striped t-shirts on a Saturday".
Done and done. I love everything about this place and I think I love Stacy too.
