I think wearing white after Labor Day will be my rebellious go-to look for this fall. The white mixed with warm caramel colors looks so fresh when the weather starts to get chilly and bleak… I had an extra skip in my step wearing these gorgeous Louboutin booties gifted to me by my sweet friend Susan (post here!) – those red soles really do make you feel “rawr” when you have them on your feet. My favorite, favorite purchase of the season thus far is the cashmere shawl (I call it my cape – because I can). Full disclosure, a coworker down the hall from me has one with a grey leopard print on it and after seeing her wrapped in it in our freezing office I knew I had to have one, too. I’m 99% sure it’s considered loungewear but I wear mine everywhere. And it’s going to be the best companion on flights 
Ohhhh and the bag… How can we not talk about this glorious Thela bag by Meli Melo in the most perfect luggage brown color? It’s as wonderful in person as Sally and I expected (she posted about it here) and it is so nice to carry messenger style or with the shorter handles. So much love for this new carryall!
