Last Wednesday night, we had the honor of co-hosting a Marciano + Harper’s Bazaar event with fellow blogger and real life friend Amy of Dallas Wardrobe. The event featured sweet treats galore (one of our favorite parts…obviously) and a lash bar with Makeup For Ever (first time for both of us to try false lashes!). The Mionetto champagne was flowing and the company was fantastic. So many people made it out to the event to shop the stores new arrivals - we made a new blogger friend, Sol of Style Anthology - and we couldn’t have been happier with the turnout. Hosting the event with a good friend made the night that much better!
Both of our outfits were by Marciano and we absolutely loved them. Not surprising at all, we both scooped up classic black dresses (Molly’s and Sally’s) because we knew they would hang in our closet forever and be worn over and over again. Everyone needs a LBD, right?! Molly wore a great wool shawl collar, wrap coat that will perfect once our weather in Dallas finally cools down. Sally picked up a classic cropped leather-trimmed tweed and leather jacket that will look amazing with jeans, skirts, and dresses alike. Obviously all four pieces will be bouncing back and forth between our closets as we love to share things!
Thank you so much to our new friends at Marciano for inviting us to be part of such a fun event… We’ll be returning to the Dallas store soon to check out an exciting new collection and for Molly to get this shirt she has her eye on!
