Today is the first official cold day in Dallas.  I’m talking really cold.  Last night was the first night the temperature went below freezing since mid March and I just saw on the news that car winsheilds are covered with frost.  BRrrrr!  So last week we were at 89 degrees and now this.  Yikes.  With the temperature here getting colder by the day, all I can think about is bundling up each time I leave the house.  There is nothing worse than being cold, no?  I’ve got a serious thing for pretty coats and jackets.  My mom and Molly continually tell me that I don’t need “one more coat in the coat closet”.  Psshh.  They’re hard to resist when there are so many pretty options out there.  I’ve particularly got my eye on J.Crew’s cocoon coat for its unique shape with a standup collar and invisible zip front.  I am even more sold after seeing the coat on Anna and Liz.  Adorable, right?  My top two color picks are definitely the ones they’re wearing, but I’m leaning more towards the grey.  I adore a classic camel coat, but sometimes feel like with my ghostly winter skin and light blonde hair, that it may not be the most flattering color on me.  Decisions, decisions!

    I absolutely love the gray pendleton coat. It is PERFECTION. I adore the pockets and the fact that it's a bit longer in the back then in the front. If only it wasn't near $500…..

    For cold days (and I'm talking below 0) I'll stick with my North Face. I'm not even going to attempt trying to look cute when it's negatives out!!
