Everyone knows by now that the smoking slipper has by far been one of this season’s most popular shoes, but have you heard of Del Toro and their smoking slippers? Ever since first learning of the brand from our pal Jess’ blog, I can’t stop obsessing over them. The company literally has the most unique collection of slippers that I have yet to see – making it quite hard to even pick a favorite. A mix of materials – velvet, linen, patent, younameit is adorned with various pretties from studs to stars to embroidery. You can even customize a pair to make them exactly what you want. Recently, Del Toro did a collaboration with The Man Repeller (yep, it gets better) to create two different pairs of slippers. I’ve got to say that both pairs rank pretty high up there in my favorites. The Goofy Face is utterly awesome and I love that it makes a seemingly serious shoe more playful with its pale, vintage denim and funny face on each foot. Would expect nothing less from The Man Repeller, right!? She also designed the Fancy Flamingo version that are equally as legit with a silver flamingo on one foot and a gold on the other. See what I mean? There’s just too much awesomeness coming from this company for me to even handle. How is one to ever chose??
