No cuts. No color. Just blowouts. Really, really good blowouts. That’s the simplistic mission and philosophy behind drybar, the blowout bar that’s quickly becoming a cult favorite in each city they’re located in… Don’t know if you have one by you? Check out their list here 
The concept is simple: book an appointment, take a look at the menu of options and flip through the look book, choose a desired style, and sit back and relax while a hair expert washes and styles your hair exactly how you want it. At only $35, you can walk out the door with a pretty ‘do and one aspect of getting ready crossed off your list.
Sometimes fancy times call for a better-than-you-can-do-it-yourself blowout. We are lucky that there are three local drybar locations in Dallas to choose from when we feel the need to get our hair did. The newest spot in Dallas’ Northpark Mall recently asked if we wanted to come in to see the space and get styled and we jumped at the chance – booking appointments for last Saturday afternoon since we had a party to go to that night.
Our whole experience was fabulous… From the complimentary drinks we sipped while waiting patiently for our chairs, to the great products used on our hair (Moroccanoil and L’Oreal), we both felt like we got the royal treatment (even though it comes standard at drybar). Like all drybar locations, the all white interior with signature pops of grey and sunny yellow made for a pretty and upbeat place to stay parked for our blowouts… They really thought of everything with hooks for handbags and personal iPhone/iPod docks so you can listen to your own music. Dirty Dancing was the movie on screen which didn’t hurt the experience, either

I grew up in Dallas, so this will be perfect for all the times I go back home to visit my parents, which are generally around the holidays, of course. And holidays = family get togethers/parties = totally in need an awesome blowout!

This is one of the coolest things I have ever seen! I have never heard of Drybar before (There are none in PA), but the concept is absolutely fabulous!! I can't believe no one thought of this before because it's genius… Not everyone is good at styling their own hair and sometime you just have to look drop dead gorgeous for whatever reason, so this is a great place to make that happen. Hope it's coming to PA soon!

i saw the first drybar when i was in newport beach at fashion island…i was hoping that they would bring it to dallas. a year later, they did! LOVE the whole concept of drybar–the decor, vibe, music, movies, drinks, and friendly staff! the new one at north park definitely makes north park one-stop shopping!!
