Warm December

It’s kind of hard to think “December!” and “Holiday!” when temperatures have been in the high 60s or 70s in Dallas.  I’m not complaining – I swear – but I am a little jealous of the people snuggling up at home with hot chocolates in hand because it’s cold outside.  It’s like in Home Alone 2 when Kevin is all, “Why do we have to go to Florida? There’s no Christmas trees in Florida.”  The warm weather is making it hard for me to get in the spirit!  It doesn’t help that Sally hasn’t gotten around to decorating our Christmas trees (it’s her year to do it).  Hopefully the next few weeks bring a bit of a chill so I can at least wear layers and sweaters!

P.S. I am SO excited to be on DahliaLynn Lane today as part of Jessica’s “Love You” series… It’s honestly one of my most favorite series in the blogsphere in that it focuses on self love and self appreciation – something women in particular seem to forget to do :)  I hope you’ll hop over and check out my “loves”… It was such a fun excerise and really made me think hard about qualities I love about myself!  Thanks again for having me, sweet Jessica

Dallas/Ft. Worth is supposed to get a huge cold front on Monday that actually may stick around, and I couldn't be more excited! Haha. Happy weekend!

I can appreciate your love/hate of the warmer weather and the difficulty it presents in getting into the Christmas spirit. (It's supposed to be in the 70s this weekend here in NC!) and points for the Home Alone 2 reference! Happy weekend!!

Ahh don't be jealous of our NY/NJ weather it's so depressing! But the Holidays do make it more joyous. I wouldn't mind some days in the 70's though. Wishing you a wonderful holiday season..oh and I love those gold sunglasses!
