Even though Sally and I live together, talk 3-7 times a day via phone and text and co-author this blog – we never really know what the other is posting on until we see it go live. Sometimes we brainstorm ideas and ask for opinions on images but all the writing happens when we sit silently in front of our own computers. So Sally doesn’t know anything about this here post…
For a while now (years, people), Sally has been telling me (and other special people), “I love you to the moon – and back.” It’s become our special send off and one of the things I love most about our relationship aside from church giggles and weird voices. A few days (or weeks maybe? I’m losing the concept of time as of late) ago I pinned the “I love you to the moon – and back” card above on Pinterest. Created by Quill and Fox shop on Etsy, the cards are one of the cutest illustrations of the “moon and back” saying I have ever seen. So I just bought us each a card (seriously, just now) and plan to have them framed for each of us. We already have a darling “I love you to the moon and back” painted piece of wall art in our kitchen but why not have this tiny print for each of our rooms?
Having a sister (or seastar) like Sally Ann is one of the most valuable relationships in my life. We’re kind of obsessed with each other. And the unconditional love thing and constant beer drinking partner makes her my bestie.
