The one thing that I feel like my closet is really lacking is a killer leather jacket. Actually any leather jacket at all. I don’t own one and have been dying for one ever since I traveled to Italy in college. Molly got an amazing quilted black one for Christmas and I have been super jelly ever since. She can wear a white tee and throw on that jacket and look like a million bucks. It is definitely one of those pieces that truly has the ability to transform an outfit. Not to mention that the current weather in Dallas is perfectly perfect to sport a leather jacket out at night over a skirt, dress, or jeans. Can you tell yet that I am really sad about this topic?
If I had an endless budget and could go out and buy myself a leather jacket right right this very moment (dreamm big), I would buy this Marsh Leather Biker Jacket by All Saints in a second. The classic biker style, worn in look, and asymetrical zipper make the jacket right up my alley. Not to mention that the color offerings are very “me”. Mol has a black leather jacket, but I am into a lighter color for myself. The Marsh Jacket’s vintage pink color or the powder blue are both beyond pretty and buttery leather goodness. Both would go with everything in my closet and would be completely timeless. AH, I want one! Someday, someday…

I completely agree! As a NYC gal for the past 10 years, you would think it would be my staple – but every time I find one I think I might invest in – something sparkly comes by and just whips my attention away. Maybe this is the year – the year of the leather jacket!

i have this leather jacket i got from target a few years ago, it's my favorite piece of clothing in my closet. It's so versatile and makes me feel super cool when I wear it. I get compliments everywhere I go when I wear it and I actually am giddy when I saw I got it from Target!!!!
