Personal Pinhole Press

A little while back Molly posted here about a newfound obsession, Pinhole Press.  Pinhole Press is a site deticated to creating “beautifully simple photo gifts”.  Their products are just that, beautiful and simple.  Both of us had been dying for a chance to create something via the Pinhole site, so when my boyfriends and my anniversary was approaching I jumped at the chance to create a photo book.

Words cannot describe the way I felt when the book that I had created came in the mail.  It was absolutely gorgeous, but at the same time so perfectly clean and simple.  The pretty matte pages and plain white backgrounds really make each photo stand out.  Which they should – the pictures are the main attraction of the book, right?!  Because I have more pictures than I know what to do with, I created the largest size in their photo books – the 97 photos version.  The book is literally a thick coffe table-like book that is bound in a linen color of your choice – very good looking.  What I may love the absolute most is the cover page – an edge to edge picture of your choice.  It really is a work of art.  As Mol said in her post about Pinhole, who needs the wild backgrounds and fonts, isn’t the focus supposed to be on the pictures anyway?!

Since creating my book and seeing the final product, Mol and I have sent many friends and coworkers to Pinhole who have all created similarly beautiful picture gifts.  Now I am just trying to find someone with a baby or a baby on the way to dive into their new and wonderful baby department.  Too. Cute. For. Words.  Even if you don’t have a baby you should probably just go on to check out all of the precious baby pictures.

Sidenote: Yes, we are obsessed with our dogs.  Should probably make my next Pinhole Press project be a book just with pictures of them…

I am due with my second in September and have already picked out announcements when I discovered Pinhole the last time you mentioned them. Love the "pure" feel of the baby stuff. And you can never have too many dog photos! :)

This is absolutely adorable! For our second anniversary, my bf made me a calendar with iPhoto and while it was so sweet, it wasn't close to the quality of the Pinhole book above. This is just amazing! our four year anniversary is coming up so maybe this is what I'll do!

Before I can even comment on the beauty and HQ printing of the book, I need to tell you how WONDERFUL and LOVELY your nail color is! My boyfriend and I actually create a book for every trip we take together – using favorite images to keep meaningful memories.

WOW. I have seen many different photo book site but this one seems to make the most professional looking one. I first thought it was a book that was published by a big publishing house.
    It's so nicely put together.

I have a giveaway on April 1. Please come check it out.Thanks.

I love this – I need to make a book for my guy! I was actually just going through all of my photos last night and couldn't decide what to do with them… so many remain on my computer never looked at. It would be fun to display those memories in a coffee table book. ;)
