Its happening again. You know, that thing where I get an itching to go spend obscene amounts of dollars on new nail colors to spice up my life a little bit. Mol and I have this running joke with each other where we say “new nail color?” in these creepy voices, I swear it never gets old. Try to do your best to imagine us saying that while reading the title of this post, mmmkk?
Now that spring is finally here and white jeans are acceptable (and sweating through my nice work shirts [lovely, right?] is back in action), its time to bring neon nails into the rotation dontcha think? Of all the pretty neon colors out on the market right now, I only own pink so it is most definitely necessary for me to grow my collection and stat. A long, long time ago I posted about American Apparel’s neon nail polish collection but never purchased any. I’m thinking now is as good a time as ever to go see these colors in person and pick up a few bottles. Also, as if on cue, just this week In Style posted their favorite neon polishes. The AA colors were regulars in the lineup (they must be good), and I found a few other favorites. Next month Essie has a new collection coming out that features neon colors in warm hues – can’t wait to scope out our local beauty store for this one!

Ha, I totally thought of y'all yesterday. I heard a thing on the radio that nail polish purchases increased something like 60% last year!
Anyhoo, I'm normally super safe and boring in my polish choices, but for my next pedi, I'm thinking neon yellow all the way

Looove! I'm a little scared to bring neon nails into the workplace but I'm willing to give it a try, I've also heard good things about the AA polish, might have to hit up Mockingbird Station this weekend!

These neon colors really do refresh an old outfit. I tried out the neon lime the other day at work but I think that might have been too much for my conservative office. My boss goes, "what's that on your nails?" Not exactly the response I was going for! Regardless, I love all the colors on this post!!
