Full disclaimer, I was *this* close to posting about the Viceroy hotel Kelly Wearslter designed in Miami. But then I laid eyes on the Anquilla resort, also a Viceroy and also designed by Wearslter, and had a change of heart. While the Miami hotel is loud, vibrant and heavily decorated – the Anquilla interiors are more subtle with a relaxing pallet that screams luxury. Kudos to Kelly for adapting both design aesthetics to go along with the local vibe outside the hotel walls. As if we’d expect anything less of her.
I haven’t been to a beach in three years… Woe is me, right? If money and vacation time were no object I’d pack a bag full of Missoni bikinis (that I don’t own) and frothy sundresses (that don’t hang in my closet), and jet to Anquilla, check into the Viceroy and have the most glam beach stay of my life. Can you imagine anything better than looking through gorgeous interiors for full ocean views? I’ll just be adding this to my wish list of places I’d like to stay before I die. If you don’t have such a list I highly suggest starting one when you have some down-time at your desk job. Visualizing is healthy, lovers.

These photos are gorgeous and I think maybe we should visualize ourselves right into planning a vacation together! Like it? I can't wait to see you soon. xo
These go perfect with your white hot May! I've never stayed somewhere this fabulous…thinking I should make it a new goal
About once every two months my friend and i designate a weekend to a staycation here in palm springs. And somehow we always manage to choose the Viceroy here, which by the way is this amazing little boutique hotel up against the mountains!
This is a feast for the eyes! I love every single pic. And wao…that ocean! And yes Missoni suits would be in order. I wish!!
Wow, this looks like an amazing destination!
Love love love this! The decoration is stunning! Definitely going on my list of places I want to go!

Totally on my list. This place looks amazing! Though can I include a small confession? When we stayed at the Viceroy in Palm Springs last fall, I was not as blown away as I thought I would be. However, it looks like for Anguilla, they really pulled out all the stops!!
AMAZING POST:) Your blog is so wonderful and I will happily follow.

Anguilla is one of my favorite places on earth!! I have never been to the Viceroy, (I stay at Cap Juluca) but it is truly an amazing place, dying to Carl there! You girls would love it! xo

So happy to see this post! I just got back from a trip to Anguilla with my husband. While we did not stay at the Viceroy, we drove our rental car across the island (on the "wrong" side of the road, no less) to that gorgeous place three times. I was absolutely obsessed with Ms. Wearslter's work, and took photos of everything there! Her eye is truly unbeatable.
Wow! Love the photos! Viceroy Anguilla is luxury at its finest… The setting is beautiful, the dining some of the best on the island too. Make sure you have sushi and sunset drinks at the Sunset Lounge … My favorite part of Viceroy!
I was lucky enough to stay at the property she designed in Santa Monica – so so beautiful! I totally agree that the palette of this decor is so soothing. Maybe one day you'll go… question is… can I come?
