As predicted in my post last Thursday, I am officially on cloud 9 this Monday morning after a long weekend on the beach for my friend Madeleine’s bachelorette weekend. Its is amazing what the beach, forever friends, new friends, some sunshine and a little bit of wine/beer/younameit can do for the soul. You should try it sometime.
The very best part about the weekend was the common thread, the bride, Maddie. A group of 17 of us were brought together to celebrate her – there were those of us that have been together since the first grade, those that are Mad’s very best friends from her college days, her two darling sisters and her mom (who is one of the most amazing women). All brought together to form new friendships and memories over our love for Maddie. Lets just say that a friend of Maddie’s is a friend of mine. And although the beach weekend sadly had to come to an end wayyy to fast, we’ve got 26 short days until the wedding where we can do it all over again. Whoever created Bachelorette weekends is a total. genius. I think they make you that much more excited for the big day.
Despite the fact that I am coming off of a severe lack of sleep from the weekend this Monday morning, I seriously do not think I could be any happier than I am right now. Hoping you all had just as wonderful of a weekend!
