Imperfectly Perfect

A few months ago Molly and I saw these Royal Bazaar stud earrings in the Kate Spade store and I haven’t been able to get them out of my head since.  Each earring is handmade in Afghanistan by the Turquoise Mountain Foundation and features a stone that is cut and set by hand making no two earrings alike.  I absolutely love the raw and imperfect state of these earrings and think they are a great deviation from the typical stud.   Plus, how neat that they were created by hand all the way across the world.  They are beyond stunning in person, too.

On the website the earrings come in Ruby, Kunzite (a pale, pale pink), Aquamarine, and Peridot.  Each stone is equally as pretty, but the Aquamarine is definitely my favorite.  Its neutral color would go with absolutely everything and is something I know I could never get sick of.  Are they not just precious!?

I love finding things that are handmade and have a great story behind them. And, coincidentally, I love stud earrings!
