Sprinkles Ice Cream

I have no shame in my Sprinkles Cupcakes obsession.  Yes I own a “red velvet” t-shirt, yes I have tried every single flavor they offer, and yes the people in the Dallas location have come to recognize me on my weekend visits.  People will argue with me but I consider them the best at what they do (that whole loyalty thing, hehe).  I for one nearly fell out of my chair when I got the email weeks ago about Sprinkles Ice Cream opening in Beverly Hills (right next to the Sprinkles cupcake ATM).  Candace Nelson is a genius!  She’s capitalizing on the Sprinkles brand to open another sweet shop serving up America’s most beloved desserts: ice cream and cookies.

The grand opening was May 24th and I have read nothing but great reviews… But would you really expect anything less?  The interior design follows the modern sleekness of the cupcake locations but has a clean vibe all its own, and they’ve made sure to include the fan favorite red velvet cupckae in the form of ice cream, waffle cones and cupcake crumbles.  Let’s just hope they start rolling locations out across the country – I don’t think I can live without trying red velvet ice cream…

    Until you can get to Beverly Hills, try out the Ben & Jerry's version of Red Velvet Cake ice cream! It's so so good!
