I am a major sucker for all things Horn but have yet to own anything in the material, so when my boyfriend and I were in Vail last week and saw an amazing blonde horn bangle by Zeffira I had to have it. The fact that it was 50% off made it even more meant to be. Since then, I have been wearing my bangle non stop, literally. It goes with absolutely everything and I love the natural look of it.
When I got home from the trip I decided to do a little research on the brand who makes the cuff, Zeffira. (Kind of crazy, but I can’t find an actual website for the company anywhere!) While I couldn’t find a website for the company, Endless has an insane amount of their jewelry so I was able to see what else is out there. My favorites are the bangle set (so fun!), the drop earrings (such a pretty, neutral, every day earring), and the bangle with turquoise stones (would be great layered with other pieces).
I also learned that all of the pieces are made from African or South African buffalo horn once the animals have shed their horns. They do this about once a year. The above pictures are from a San Francisco jewelry botique, Meiter. So wishing they sold their products online – I would die for the blonde horn link necklace in the first picture!

um, that chunky necklace is to die for!
I found a great blonde large link necklace on etsy for a great price. Had seen one at Henri Bendel for several hundred dollars but bought mine for about $20! It looks fabulous with jeans, a white linen blouse and natural colored sandals. Also got a set of bangles for next to nothing. The quality is great and the look is fabulous. I get compliments on both pieces all the time.
i agree, this stuff is beautiful! would die for any of those bangles…
Hello gorgeous shop!
Its so funny, these pieces totally make me think of my old german grandparents. I remember playing in their home with tons of horn nick nacks, and these jewellery pieces totally resemble that. Love it!

They're gorgeous! However, I'm not sure the content you read was correct or it was misinterpreted. Buffalo don't shed their horns, they have them for life. Any animal with horns…which is what this jewelry is…have their horns for life. Only antlers are shed. So they would have to acquire them from a dead animal…which is fine if it was something that was being used for meat or something anyways. Sorry, I try not to get preachy about the animal stuff on other people's blogs, but I'm just hoping this company isn't falsely claiming how they obtain their product. If it's legit, great. If not, I would be opposed to it.
